In March of this year, the smart factory project for aerospace CNC machine tools of Maka Company held a grand groundbreaking ceremony at the European Industrial Park in Dadong District, Shenyang City. The commencement of this smart factory marks the official entry of MAKA into a new stage of capacity expansion and technological innovation.
At 9 a.m., the groundbreaking ceremony kicked off in a warm and solemn atmosphere. Guests from relevant government departments, industry associations, partners, and all walks of life jointly witnessed this historic moment. In his speech, Qin Guangcai, Founder of Maka Machine Tool Company, stated: "Maka has always been committed to the R&D and manufacturing of five-axis CNC machine tools, especially in the civil aerospace field. We have always upheld the entrepreneurial philosophy of 'Bulid 5-axis machine tool with the word-class high standards in Chinese' Through continuous technological innovation and R&D investment, we have gained recognition from domestic and foreign customers. The goal of this project is to build a leading domestic and internationally renowned green and environmentally friendly machine tool manufacturing base, integrating advanced production technologies and intelligent management systems to provide customers with high-quality and high-performance machine tool products and services."
The project has a total investment of 290 million yuan and covers an area of 90 mu (it is planned to add 70 mu of land for the second phase in May 2025, totaling 160 mu). Positioned as a R&D and manufacturing center for digital high-end intelligent machine tools, the project plans to construct a 40,000-square-meter digital constant-temperature workshop. It focuses on tackling "neck-pinching" problem such as civil aerospace intelligent manufacturing technology, high-precision and high-efficiency five-axis machining technology for casings, hole-making technology for the suspension of the domestic large aircraft C919, and digital twin visualization systems for CNC machine tools. The project also provides customized product selection services and overall industry solutions. Its products are widely used in high-end manufacturing industries such as civil aerospace, rail transit, and new energy vehicles, aiming to promote industrial upgrading, enhance independent innovation capabilities, achieve import substitution, and accelerate the formation of new quality productivity.
Li Gang, Vice Mayor of Shenyang City, spoke highly of Maka Company's aerospace CNC machine tool smart factory project. He stated that the project's construction not only demonstrates Shenyang's leading edge as a national aviation cluster and industrial machine tool cluster but also serves as a powerful testament to Shenyang's manufacturing industry moving toward the high end of the value chain.
With the successful conclusion of the groundbreaking ceremony, the site was filled with the roar of machinery, and builders passionately immersed themselves in tense and orderly construction.
